Coconut Delights

Celebrating World Coconut Day with mouthwatering recipes and eco-friendly filtering

The 2nd of September is World Coconut Day, and we're excited to celebrate everything about this delicious fruit. And for each recipe using coconut and water, get the most of the natural, sweet, creamy flavour of coconut but complementing it with BRITA MAXTRA+ water filters for delicious food and drinks.

At BRITA, we’re proud to be using natural, eco-friendly resources like coconut husk fibres in our water filters. Our coconut husk filters can remove impurities in your tap water for better-tasting water and better-tasting food when you cook with water.

To celebrate World Coconut Day, we want to highlight some of our favourite coconut recipes to show  how yummy and healthy this ingredient can be. And for any recipe that includes water, be sure to use filtered water to maximise the flavour of coconut in whatever dish or drink you create.

The qualities of water

We all drink water every day, but we rarely think about the flavour, scent, texture, and mouthfeel of water. Some people think water has no flavour, but a side-by-side comparison between unfiltered and filtered water can shine a light on all the flavours you might have never noticed in your tap water.

Minerals, metals, and compounds can make their way into your water as it journeys to your tap. Tap water is perfectly safe to drink, of course, but that doesn’t automatically mean it’s ready to be part of a delicious cup of coffee.
